SPARK kids is Eastgate's very creative childcare department for ages birth-12 years. Every SPARK kid visit begins with children's corporate time then moves to a classroom where they are served an organic fruit snack after the teaching.
Children and parents join together with the adult congregation for praise and worship but after parents can enjoy the teaching time knowing their children are loved and led at their level into a faith walk with Jesus.

SHEKINAH SVOLTO MOREIRA
Shekinah is a dedicated woman of God who has cherished a deep love for Jesus since her early years. With over a decade of experience in missions and teaching English abroad, she brings a wealth of knowledge and cultural insight to her role. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Ed K-6, Masters in English Language Learning and Doctorate in Learning Systems and Strategic Change (Ed. leadership), she demonstrates her dedication to academic advancement and supporting diverse student groups. Her time at Metro Nashville Public Schools highlights her enthusiasm for education and community involvement. Apart from her professional pursuits, Shekinah finds fulfillment and joy in caring for her son and miracle boy, Joshua.

Elder Dawn Gray
Dawn was born in Dallas, TX and moved around a lot due to her step-father's job until her high school years in Arkansas. Upon graduating high school, she moved with her family to TN and attended MTSU. She graduated in 1991. Dawn gave her heart to the Lord at the age of 12 in a Methodist church, but it wasn't until she was 26 that she fully understood that God is personal and wants to have a personal relationship with all of His children.
At that point her life dramatically changed as His Word came alive to her. She met and married David in a whirlwind courtship at the age of 32 where she became a wife and instant mom to his sons Nick and Dakota which now make five children with their daughter Hannah and two younger sons Caleb and Judah.
