Originally asked to step into a brief, six-month interim youth leadership position at Eastgate, Jhason has now been serving as the leader of Eastgate's youth ministry since 2009 and was ordained in 2013 as Youth Pastor. At the age of 16 Jhason discovered that God's desire for him was to be in youth ministry. As the years have progressed it's been a beautiful journey as other passions and desires for the church as a whole have blossomed in Jhason. 

Jhason married his best friend and beautiful wife Brittany, who also shares a strong passion for the church at large. Brittany is a Texas native but moved to Nashville in 2010 and immediately fell in love with Eastgate on her first visit. In 2011 she began serving at Sync Student Ministries and later in 2016 was ordained as Co-Youth Pastor. Jhason & Brittany both possess big hearts for youth ministry and worship music in the church and greatly desire to see the body of Christ regain its hunger for true worship.

Eric & Hannah Dunn met while attending Sync as students back in 2009. Eric started coming to Sync as a Freshmen in high school and was a core member of the youth ministry throughout his high school years. His deep love for music led him to join Sync’s worship team where he faithfully served for multiple years. Upon graduating, Eric joined Sync’s leadership team as a Student Leader and began assisting in Sync’s Worship team weekly. In September of 2013 Eric was promoted to Youth Leader where he began co-leading Sync’s worship team with Jude. 

Hannah first joined Sync as a shy 7th grader who was tagging along with her older sister who had already been attending Sync for some time. Hannah very quickly became a core member in the youth ministry. Throughout the years as she grew in confidence  (and with a little push from those around her) she started singing on Sync’s worship team and immediately discovered a deep passion for worship music. That passion grew and grew as Hannah served faithfully as a foundational member of the worship team for her entire high school years.  Hannah graduated in 2015 and was one of Sync’s first students to attend from 7th grade through 12th grade.

Their relationship story is a beautiful one. They met in 2009 at a young age, developed feelings for each other shortly thereafter in 2010, dated throughout high school, which ultimately led up to Eric “popping the question” in 2014 - Hannah emphatically said “YES!” In September of 2015 Eric and Hannah stepped away from the youth ministry to focus on some new opportunities that God had laid before them while also getting prepared for their wedding! The time couldn't pass fast enough and the two of them tied the knot in May of 2017. Throughout all of the transitions their lives have seen these last years, Eric and Hannah remained faithfully committed members of Eastgate’s Sunday worship team; where they now serve as Worship Leaders. In 2018 Eric and Hannah felt God leading them back to their old stomping grounds in the youth ministry at Sync where they currently serve as Sync’s Youth Director Assistants.
