Born in South Bend, Indiana, I moved to Nashville with my mom when I was two, so I’ve pretty much lived here in Nashville my whole life! I first started coming to Eastgate in 2009 on and off when I was a teenager in the youth group. I got disconnected from Eastgate for several years as my family shifted from place to place, but then God reconnected me to one of the worship team members in 2016. In a very vulnerable time in my life, he invited me to one of Eastgate’s worship nights, and God used that to completely transform my life. I’ve never looked back since, and I now serve as a worship team member and a youth director along side my fiancé, Abby.
Outside of serving at Eastgate, I work at a pharmaceutical company as the systems administrative assistant (which just so happens to be across the street!). I am also very passionate about music, as I play a whole slew of instruments and love writing songs. I’m an avid photographer, and I enjoy capturing moments of my friends, family, and city. One of my favorite things to do is to take Abby out on breakfast dates, and we’re currently searching for Nashville’s best biscuits! I’m so thankful that God has me where I am. I’m super excited for the future of Eastgate and the work we are doing in Nashville for God’s kingdom.
What quality/trait do you admire most?
My favorite trait is definitely generosity. It warms my heart when people are generous to others!
Teenagers…JUST KIDDING. Lack of humility, bad smells, and country music.
Most traumatic experience:
Being rejected by my lovely soon-to-be wife when I first told her I had feelings for her…… :)
Some of your biggest mistakes:
Going down a giant hill on a razor scooter barefoot. Ouch.
Favourite Vacation Spot:
Seattle, Chicago, road-trips, really any place that doesn’t make me sweat!
My absolute dream job would be to write and produce songs and get paid for it!
Favorite TV shows, Books or Movies:
TV Shows- This is Us, The Office, Chuck
Books- Love Does, Battlefield of the Mind, Loveology
Movies- Hitch, Home Alone, Ratatoulli (yes..I know it’s a kids movie, haha)
Music, photography, hanging with my amazing friends, and napping
The Beatles, Bruno Major, Allen Stone, Toto, John Mayer, Nat King Cole, Bethel Music, Jude Smith (plug alert), anything worship, and just about anything R&B
Salmon, Fried pickles, Olive Garden soup & salad, and anything that Abby bakes! :)
