WELCOME TO EASTGATE CREATIVE

CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

Whether you’re a young or senior adult, single, or married with kids, you’ll feel encouraged by the authentic community we have at Eastgate. Our services are broadcasted via livestream every week for an online experience, but there is nothing like coming and worshipping with us in person! That's where true community is found, face to face with one another.

Our mission statement: Eastgate Creative Christian Fellowship exists to pursue God and to fulfill the Great Commission by attracting people to Jesus Christ, connecting as family, maturing together in Christ, and equipping the Church to do the work of Jesus Christ in our community and in the world through the Holy Spirit and biblical teaching.

Our core values:

Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, Make a Difference.

We believe these core values are essential in your walk with the Lord and connection with us. We want you to continually know God more. We want you to find freedom in your life, so that you can truly walk in the freedom Christ has given to you. Discovering your purpose is an essential part in connecting to the Body of Christ. And, we want you to be making a difference not only in your personal life and community, but even in this community that we call Eastgate.

We are so glad you found us and we're looking forward to meeting you soon.

 Let us know you're coming

As you plan your visit,

here are some things to know:

We know that visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating and overwhelming.

That’s why we want to make this experience as simple and smooth as possible for you.

  • How do you welcome first-time visitors?

We won’t embarrass you or ask you to stand up or raise your hand during the service. We would love the opportunity to get to know you and for you to get to know us. So, we have a 2-minute meet and greet time before the teaching, where we give opportunity for our congregants to introduce themselves and build connections with one another. Our Pastors are always available for ministry after service and would love to connect with you!

  • Where do I go once i arrive?

We have parking available all around our building, but then you'll look for the door that says "Welcome" – you'll enter through– there and our sanctuary is immediately to your right.

  • What are Sunday services like?

Our typical service begins at 10am with Praise & Worship (children remain in service during this time for corporate worship). We then move into a "transition time" where one of our Pastors or leaders shares and leads us into a time of what we call "prophetic flow" which the Apostle Paul taught about in 1 Corinthians 14. This gives an opportunity for others to share what they sense God is speaking in the service and for the church to be built up (John 10:27, 1 Cor. 14:26). Since Scripture teaches us to pursue moments like this in the church with decency and order, every person who shares first filters what they're sensing from the Lord through one of our designated Elders or Pastors before it is released to the church. Then, we will pray and take up our tithes & offerings as an extension of worship time, because we believe giving is an act of worship. We then dismiss our children to their classes and move into a brief 2 minute "meet & greet time" to allow our worship team to transition off stage and setup for the sermon. We have about an hour long sermon by one of our Pastors and end with a time of prayer and opportunity for ministry.

  • Do you have anything going on pre-service?

Yes, we always have free coffee, tea, and some sort of pastries available in our cafe from 9am-9:55am.

We have a pre-service Sunday School group for all ages that meets from 9am-9:45am and is open to anyone who would like to participate. Learn more here.

We also have Pre-Service Prayer in our sanctuary from 9:15am-9:45am

  • WHat are the pastor's messages like?

Our Pastors (2 Senior Pastors & 2 Associate Pastors) rotate teaching every Sunday - each with their own unique style of delivery. Our Pastors believe in sound Biblical teaching as the foundation for every message.  Some messages will emphasize practical application, another message may be full of testimonies of how God is moving in current circumstances, some messages will be based on a Biblical story, and sometimes we just allow the Holy Spirit to direct the teaching. But, all of our messages are grounded in Biblical truth with the pursuit of equipping every person for the work that God has for them in the world today.

Listen to our recent messages here.

  • What is the music like?

Our team does a mix of contemporary worship, gospel, and even traditional hymns. You may also hear some of our own music that our team has written. Some weeks we will have a full band and others we will have things stripped down to an acoustic set.

  • Do you take up offering?

Yes. We believe everything we have God has generously given to us, and we want to give a portion of what He’s entrusted to us back to Him.

We don’t pass a plate during the service, but we do have giving boxes at the front of our stage for physical donations and also offer online giving options to give back to God as you feel led.

  • How do the people in church express themselves in worship?

Some people dance, others kneel, some lift their hands in an expression of praise and respect to God. We don’t expect everyone to do this; just as you desire to outwardly express yourself.

  • What should i wear?

The majority of our people dress casual to business casual, but there is no formal dress code.

ARE YOU BRINGING ANY CHILDREN WITH YOU?

We want to make sure our families feel welcome and safe. We desire that our children experience the love of Jesus, no matter their age or learning level.

  • Is there a place my children can connect?

Yes! We have a wonderful program called SPARK Kids (Spirit-Led, Passionate, Activated, Relevant, Kingdom Kids) for infant - 6th grade (12 years old) soon after the worship portion of our service is finished. SPARK kids is a place where kids learn about God in a fun atmosphere created just for them!

If you would like to arrive early, you can stop by our SPARK Kids check-in kiosk prior to our 10am service to see our classrooms and connect with our SPARK Kids Leaders!

  • How do you keep our kids safe?

Your child’s safety is very important to us. That’s why we have all of our child-care volunteers and leaders  complete a background check before serving in the SPARK kids department.

We’ve also set up a check-in system which also gives parents and guardians the confidence of knowing their children are safe in this kid-friendly environment.

Our security team also ensures no unauthorized personnel are given access to our child-care rooms or bathrooms.

  • I have a nursing child. is there a special room for nursing mothers?

Yes, we have a Mother's room located in our lobby right next to our women's restroom. There is a changing table, rocking chairs, and even a TV with the lIvestream feed of the service, so that you don't have to miss a single moment.

  • Is there anything for teens?

All teenagers (12 years old & up) stay in the main service for Sunday's, but we do have a special service dedicated to our Ignite Students on Wednesday Nights at 6:30pm at the Eastgate Facility.
