Who we are


We believe God created you with a unique purpose, and Eastgate exists to help you discover that purpose and take your next step in your walk with Christ.


Eastgate is a non-denominational community of believers in Old Hickory, Tennessee, passionate about God’s Word, worshiping in Spirit and truth, serving our community, and pursuing authentic relationship with both God and one another.


We’d love to welcome you to the family table! Join us every Sunday at 10:00 AM at the Old Hickory Community Center in the heart of Old Hickory Village | 1050 Donelson Ave, Old Hickory 37138. 


We also offer small groups meeting throughout the week in homes and locations across the city, providing opportunities to grow in faith, build meaningful connections, and do life together.

Senior  Pastor chris Smith & Pastor laura Harris Smith

Chris & Laura founded Eastgate Creative Christian Fellowship in 2004 with an emphasis on community and creativity, which remain today as the ingredients behind the growing church’s city-wide reputation for creative Christian fellowship. Eastgate is inter-denominational, meaning that people from all backgrounds attend and thrive there, and with Pastor Laura's naturopathic guidance on body, mind and spirit health, it is known as the church where you come to get healed and stay healed... Services last about two hours and include a brief open-mic time when audience members are allowed to bring encouragements, exhortations and edifications to one another, all based on 1 Corinthians 14:3. There is no dress code; just bring an expectant heart!
