An Interview With

Barry Wallage

Barry was born in Scotts Bluff, NE, then moved to California at age 5.  He grew up in an Episcopalian home, and at the age of 27, asked Jesus into his heart. He quickly discovered how wonderfully good God is as his Father, and how great is God's love for him! God enabled Barry to to go Discipleship School, which really changed his life. Later, as his first missions trip, he ministered in Monterey, Mexico. He also worked with the Don Tipton Ministries on the Shah of Iran's boat, which fed the homeless. Barry feels called to minister to Spanish-speaking people groups, and God has provided the means for him to participate in three missions trips to Guatemala. On each trip the team provides children with food and clothing.

Barry is married to the love of his life, Fay, and they will soon celebrate 39 years of marriage!  He has four awesome children, Brian, Anne, Angela, and "another" Brian, who have given him 5 beautiful grandchildren.

An Interview With

Fay Wallage

Fay's childhood consisted of her mom and two brothers. Her dad passed away when she was about 7 years old. Her brothers were much older than her, and married, so her precious, God-loving mom and Fay walked through her childhood together. Her mom had promised her dad that she would keep Fay in church throughout her years of growing into adulthood, and she did just that! They were in church every time the doors were open, till the last person (usually the pastor) closed them! She was raised in the Baptist denomination, received Jesus as her Savior at age 11, and is very thankful for her spiritual upbringing. She is grateful that she does not have a past that consisted of living in the world, participating in worldly pleasures.

Fast forward: Fay met and married her awesome husband, Barry, to whom she has been married nearly 39 years.  They have four children, ranging in ages 44-48, and 5 beautiful grandchildren, ranging in ages 12-18.

Fay's desire is to have God's desires in her life. (Psalm 37:4) Pleasing Him is her #1 priority in life.  She says as that is accomplished everything works out for her good (Romans 8:28).
